EMOTIONAL FREEDOM Brainwave Entrainment Soundtrack

EMOTIONAL FREEDOM
Release the trapped emotions from your past with the help of these pure Theta brainwaves.

When faced with trauma, often times we unconsciously cope with the strong emotions by repressing them until a later date when we are under less stress and can better deal with them. But sadly that stress-free time rarely comes. The suppressed emotions remain in place, blocking energy flows in our bodies and eventually leading to physical and mental dis-ease.

Theta brainwaves open the door to our subconscious, where all past memories, emotions, and thoughts are stored. Hold space for yourself in these pure Theta brainwaves and allow these past traumas to resurface for healing.

The slow trickle of a stream and a gentle waterfall accompany these Theta brainwaves to hold you in a safe and secure space. Soft piano and warm strings provide additional emotional support in creating ambient music for your deep inner work. Set your intention for what you want to release and let this gentle soundtrack guide your subconscious to the right place.

Recommendations for Listening to Emotional Freedom:

You can listen to this soundtrack at any time of the day or as you’re falling asleep at night.

Setting an intention for the emotion(s) you want to release is very important when listening to Emotional Freedom. Suppressed emotions and memories are stored in the subconscious, every single one of them, and it’s your intention that will direct your mind to which emotion(s) to work on during any given listening session.

We recommend setting your intention as described in the NeuroTōnz User Guide that comes with your soundtrack. In addition, we recommend holding the memory / incident / emotion in your conscious thought for the first minute or so of listening to Emotional Freedom, and then release the thought, relax, and let your subconscious mind do the rest. In that first minute, you’re essentially directing the subconscious to which door you want it to open during that session.  We all have lots of doors to choose from!

Depending on the extent of the emotion, you may need only one session for a particular emotion / incident or you may need to work on the same emotion / incident for multiple sessions.  When you can think of the person, situation, or emotion without feeling a stress reaction, you’ll know your work is done.

Note: Please make sure you have a qualified mental health professional available to you before beginning work on any deep seated emotions or traumas that you may need assistance with. NeuroTōnz does not assume any liability for mental health challenges you may experience as a result of the resurfacing of past emotions and traumas.

Some additional thoughts on releasing trapped emotions:

Sometimes as a result of going through a painful experience, being “in our body” no longer feels good or safe, so we detach, in a way, from our body.  We detach from the feelings in our body because they don’t feel pleasant, and we spend more time in our head, thinking about our feelings rather than feeling our feelings.

When there is a painful feeling or emotion, it’s tempting to get out of your body and into your head in order to avoid that feeling.  But what you resist persists, and it’s that avoidance and detachment that keeps the emotion trapped in the body.  If you sit with the feeling, and simply allow it to be, the intensity typically lasts only moments, and then the unbearable pain of the feeling often passes and you’re left with a feeling and memory that are manageable and that no longer have control over you.

Just as a dog literally “shakes off” any stress and continues about his business, your body also knows how to fully process out emotions and stress.  It’s your mind that interrupts that process and keeps trauma trapped within the nervous system, constantly reinfecting us with those negative thoughts and emotions until we finally drop in and allow the body to fully process the incident / situation.

As you’re working through emotions while listening to Emotional Freedom, be present with any feelings or sensations that arise in your body. Is there a flutter in your leg? A tightness in your chest? A subtle throbbing in your shoulder? There’s a reason behind every sensation. Trust your body to know how to move this energy out.  Those sensations typically mean that your body is discharging an old fight or flight stress response that wasn’t discharged fully at the time and instead became locked within the nervous system.

Allow each sensation to be what it is without judgement. Follow the sensation(s) as they move to different parts of your body, and allow yourself to move and make any sounds that your body wants to make during this process. Emotions are energy, and this is a sign that your body is moving this energy.

It’s also possible that you won’t feel any physical sensations while listing to Emotional Freedom and that’s fine too.  Many people report having more active nighttime dreams when they begin to listen to Theta frequencies.  This is because our brains enter a Theta brainwave state during REM (active dream) sleep at night, and by spending more time in Theta during the day, you’re encouraging more active Theta dream activity at night.  We process emotions through our dreams so the intention you set while listening to Emotional Freedom during the day can bleed into your dream activity at night.
